![]() Here is a post I completed where I go over the details of my system. The game runs fine in VR without the overclock. This has only gained very minor improvements. I have overclocked the CPU and GPU slightly. I am running a i5 7600k, a 1060 GTX (6GB version) and 16 GB ram. The sim can run slower, however it boosts the headset fps to make it an enjoyable experience. Fly inside is the program I use to run VR in x-plane. The headset runs at 90 fps, thanks to fly inside. ![]() ![]() In fact it is much better in the headset, however I haven’t found a way to record with the headset fps. I wanted to post this video to show how the GTX 1060 handles X-Plane 11 with VR. ![]() It definitely helps to bridge the gap between real flight and sim flight. I have been flying on flight sim for many years, but this is by far the most immersive and best flight experience I have had, besides the real thing. This was just a quick video to show it working).
